our little retreat for times like these... Back tracking to 2006, I was at the summit of my real estate investing and business. I was then scouting properties as long as the bank approves me of a loan and my balance sheet can support the growth. This property was a steal deal, considering that it was already income producing with a cell tower lease and ag-exempt. It was also platted for 80 lot subdivision and thus if we decide to develop the property, we are already halfway there. Instead, priorities change, life happens, and we abandoned it for 2 years as we re-group as a family and restart over despite all the circumstance that are out of our control. We then decided to turn it into a small retreat and put a few cattle to help graze and cut off our work in cleaning it up.
